Abbiss Cadres boosts share plans practice

20 January 2012 |

Abbiss Cadres LLP has recruited five year qualified share schemes specialist Libs Davies.  Libs, a solicitor who joins from a specialist share schemes team at a major international accounting firm, previously worked in Pinsent Masons’ highly regarded share schemes practice.

Libs’s appointment to the firm’s fast expanding Compensation and Benefits team comes quickly after the announcement of the hire of Jim Yuill and Bina Gayadien as Senior Consultants.

Guy Abbiss commented:  “We are delighted to have attracted Libs to Abbiss Cadres.  She brings excellent experience gained at very good practices in a wide range of share based plans for sizeable UK and international clients.  It says something for our offering that we have succeeded in attracting a real talent from her secure position at an established player.  Libs’s appointment means we can continue to service the rapid growth in demand we are experiencing and move forward our ongoing recruitment agenda with confidence.”

Commenting on her own recruitment Libs added:  “Abbiss Cadres are focussed on ranking among the best professional practices offering employee share plan and related compensation and benefits services.  Its service mix and the range of professional skills and experience brought by the people it is recruiting differentiates it from other legal practices and looks to the future.  It offers the technology fee earners and clients might expect at a magic circle firm while encouraging professionals to concentrate on achieving excellence and have a life beyond work.  It is a formula which seems to resonate in the quality of clients and instructions which the firm is attracting.  I recognise the strength of the practice, where it is going and what it is seeking to achieve.”
