Matthew has over 25 years of experience working for a number of accounting firms including Deloitte, EY and most recently KPMG specialising in the UK and US tax supporting both employers and their employees on assignment. Matthew will be able to expand our London offering to include:
- Preparation of US tax returns for international assignees
- Providing advice to employers on their UK and US withholding tax implications for UK outbound assignees to the US and vice versa
- Preparation US tax estimates and tax equalisation calculations and related support
- Providing advice to senior executives on the UK/US tax treatment of the employee share holdings, deferred compensation plans and pensions
- US/UK tax awareness training for in-house teams
As a Chartered Tax Advisor, a member of the employment taxes sub-group of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and an Enrolled Agent with the US Internal Revenue Service, Matthew is a strong addition to the integrated tax team at Abbiss Cadres.
