Abbiss Cadres ranked by prestigious independent guide

20 January 2012 |

After only six months, Abbiss Cadres have been rated among leading
UK practices for employee share plans in the prestigious guide to the
UK legal profession, Chambers UK 2009 edition.

At an individual level, partner Guy Abbiss has once again been
included in the Best of the UK rankings.  Chambers UK describe Guy as
“diligent and client-focused” and is “particularly praised for his
technical expertise”.  Chambers UK have also quoted client feedback
including “he understands the ins and outs of convoluted plans and is
the right person to go to for complex executive remuneration”.

First published in 1990, Chambers UK has established a reputation
for its in-depth research.  Based on thousands of interviews with
lawyers and clients, the guide ranks solicitors and barristers in over
60 specialist areas of law.  The qualities on which rankings are
assessed include technical legal ability, client service, commercial
astuteness, diligence, commitment, and other qualities most valued by
the client.

The rankings and editorial comment about lawyers are independent
and objective and inclusion in the guide is based solely on the
research team’s findings – no-one can ‘buy their way in’.

A first for Abbiss Cadres, this is the fifth year in a row in which
Guy has been identified as a leader in his field by Chambers UK.
Commenting, Guy Abbiss said “It is great to see that the firm’s
expertise has been recognised by Chambers UK in our first six months of
practice.  Independent confirmation that our clients truly appreciate
the skill and commitment Abbiss Cadres was established to deliver is
even better.”
