Abbiss Cadres welcomes highly rated City compensation and benefits specialist
Abbiss Cadres is delighted to announce that Jonathan Fletcher Rogers has joined the firm as a Compensation and Benefits Partner. Jonathan, who is recognised as a leader in his field, joins from magic circle firm Allen & Overy where he spent over 10 years specialising in equity incentives and employee tax.
Jonathan’s practice focuses primarily on the design and operation of incentive plans, both in the UK and on a global basis, including the tax, regulatory and corporate governance aspects. Jonathan has considerable experience advising on the incentive aspects of a wide range of corporate transactions such as flotations, mergers and acquisitions. Jonathan also advises on employment tax more generally as well as the tax and social security issues affecting employees on international assignment.
Jonathan’s appointment is a key addition to Abbiss Cadres’ growing Compensation and Benefits team, which includes partners Guy Abbiss and John Mooney, and Senior Consultants Bina Gayadien and Kate Thompson.
Jonathan Fletcher Rogers commented on his appointment:
“I am very pleased to be joining the Compensation and Benefits team at Abbiss Cadres and look forward to developing the practice further. One of the main factors in my decision to join the firm was the commitment to offering an all-round service to clients, including legal services, tax, consulting and employee communications. This multi-disciplinary approach makes the firm unique in the compensation and benefits field. The vast amount of experience and expertise within the team, and the focus on providing a first class service, makes for a very attractive client proposition.”
Guy Abbiss commented:
“Our clients value the multi-disciplinary, client focussed approach which has fuelled our growth. Our ability to attract and retain people of Jonathan’s calibre is further verification that our mix of legal and non-legal services is a compelling formula.
Jonathan’s arrival adds further strength and depth to our already very experienced Compensation and Benefits team as well as much needed capacity to meet the needs of a rapidly expanding list of domestic and international clients.”
