David studied finance and business law at Glasgow University. After graduating he trained with KPMG and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1983.
David has held a range of senior financial positions both internationally and in the UK, with organisations including Federal Express, UK Land plc, AC Nielson, GGT Group plc and Omnicom as well as executive and non-executive roles with a range of smaller, owner managed businesses in the marketing and professional services sectors.
Most recently David established a successful call centre consultancy with a colleague in Cape Town, South Africa which was subsequently acquired by Capita Group plc.
David heads up the finance and commercial team providing advice and support to the Partners at Abbiss Cadres.
