Abbiss Cadres takes on head of niche practice as new employment partner

20 January 2012 |

Abbiss Cadres today announces the imminent arrival of Colina Greenway as Employment and Immigration Partner with effect from 1 October 2008.

Colina brings 15 years’ experience as a specialist employment law and employee relations adviser.  After many years working in senior positions at large law firms in the City, in January 2006 Colina established a successful boutique employment law practice advising a mix of national and international companies and senior individuals.

Colina has wide ranging experience advising employers across all sectors of industry, from day-to-day HR queries and management of employee litigation to the planning and implementation of major restructuring.  A significant component of her work has been in assisting clients with cross-border HR issues, from developing expatriate terms for the most senior executives to planning the employee relations processes to be rolled out simultaneously in major cross-border restructurings.  Colina also advises on UK immigration requirements for skilled workers and business people.

Unusually for a solicitor, Colina also holds an MBA from London Business School.

Commenting on Colina’s arrival, Director Guy Abbiss said:  “Colina is someone who I have always wanted to work again with after first doing so when she was a Director of KPMG’s law firm, KLegal.  She joins forces with us as we move forward into the next phase of developing our unique offering to our rapidly expanding and increasing impressive client base.  Colina’s experience working with significant international groups in the UK and beyond is invaluable as the majority of the firm’s clients fall into this category.  As well as a keen strategic acumen which will serve the business and clients well, Colina brings great intelligence, experience and acute analytical skills in a tough package – all delivered with absolute charm.  It is a good day for Abbiss Cadres and our clients.”
